Myrtle House / Playful, Modern Renovation
Our clients at Myrtle Street have lived in their home for many years and were ready to embark on a full renovation to create spaces that truly reflect their style.
Top priority was the kitchen, to create a new heart of the home where their personality could be on display.
Here we’ve used a muddy green to introduce colour to the space, whilst also ensuring it’s tone is calming and not dominating across the large expanse of cabinetry.
This is paired with concrete inspired porcelain and handmade Japanese tiles to add subtle texture and light reflection. Timber veneer features across open shelving, and creates connection across the entry, dining and laundry.
Functional and highly beautiful cabinetry is installed to the end of the dining room in place of a traditional sideboard. Here we provide substantial storage for the client in a unique way that creates a feature point along this wall along with small study nook.
The entry is refreshed with cladding and storage, feature lights are used throughout and the laundry receives a playful refresh with revitalised layout, fun tiles and bespoke slatted sliding storage.
