Chatterley / Style Refresh
Our clients had recently purchased their first home, and were looking to remove the dated finishes across the property.
First priorities were the master bedroom and entry hall.
Here we found an entry hall painted black, and a bedroom with blue walls and decals. The goal was to strip these areas back, and create a fresh, bright and contemporary look.
To the entry, a new shiplap door was installed in a contrasting mid grey, whilst the remaining space was brightened with a warm white paint and simple, functional styling to increase storage and reduce clutter.
To the master, beautiful new linen sheers screen the neighbours whilst allowing natural light, and the main wall was clad in classic VJ panelling.
Warm textures were added with timber, an upholstered bed and tactile bedlines with subtle hints of blue and green to reference the surrounding coastal location. Wall lights act as jewellery for the wall, providing soft ambient light in the evening and a stunning Kate Jarman print finishes the look and strengthens the colour palette.
